How Paint Color Gets You in the Mood

Ok, that’s a misleading title but I thought it might grab your attention.  We recently painted an office complex in Yardley and the colors they chose got me thinking: can paint color affect your employees’ attitude and productivity?  A quick Google search gave me some insight.  Here is an article that details how different colors can influence emotion and behavior.

There are some interesting takeaways from the article such as the color green is linked with broader thinking and creative thought.  Red reduces analytical thinking and isn’t helpful when trying to stay on task.   I found it most interesting that pink calms people down.  The author writes how it could be a good color choice for a law office or boardroom where conversations can get heated.
